How I Prepare My Garlic

 I love garlic.

I use a lot of garlic in my cooking. And sometimes it takes too much of my time especially when I'm trying to be in a hurry say like I'm trying to get to work on time.

So I decided to chop my garlic in batch to reduce time in preparing them.

I use a manual chopper which I bought from a local surplus store, a container and gloves of garlic.

It's very important that all the equipments are clean and dry. I just placed them in the chopper, ready for the magic to happen.

Viola! Here is the result. The thing is, my chopper can't make this tinier. This is how tiny it could get it. And personally, it's okay with me. But if you want smaller pieces, probably an electric food processor can do that.

So I collect all the garlic in the chopper and I place them in the plastic container.

I just added some oil to preserve the garlic. Make sure that all the garlic is covered in oil.

Here is my end product. I just put them in the refrigerator when I'm not using them. When I cook, I just take them out from the refrigerator, doesn't matter that the oils get hardened, they'll soften anyway when they are in a hot pan.

Not only do I cut my time in chopping garlic, I get to cook fast and still have my garlic 😁
